Fundraising Goals
We operate 100% on donations. From our first small idea of providing books to kids, to a year later, renovating a compound to work solely for our learning center, everything we have accomplished comes from the pockets of people who care.
We are a 501c3, and donations are tax-deductible. And every gift counts in a major way.

We thank you for your time and consideration. We have done so much already, we cannot wait to do more.
Current Fundraising Goals
Dreamland
Primary Play Area
Est. $4,000.00
Play improves the cognitive, physical, social, and emotional well-being of children and young people. Through play, children learn about the world and themselves. They also learn skills they need for study, work and relationships such as: confidence. We have designated a four room area that will be dedicated to creating a play area for our community children 2 years to 5 years. This space will be available daily as we help development in preschool age kids. Our needs include purchasing resources, building materials, paint and design, acquiring play equipment as well as personel. Fully funded, this project can be implemented between 30-45 days.
Annual Budget & Expenses
$24,000-$40,000
Our fiscal year runs from July to June and we actively fundraise to maintain annual budget that will support our building, fund resources, pay out salaries, bring forth materials, and continue bring high quality programming to our community. The challenge of Gashora is location, being 90 minutes away from Kigali, there is a struggle to provide basic needs, esspecially when it comes to creating student center learning.

We look at our donor family to help us continue empowering worlds in Rwanda. We need you in our daily efforts from keeping the lights on, to finding resources and continue to motivating our kids.
Dreamland
Primary Play Area
A child's development is significantly influenced by literacy. The Dream Big Library, situated in the heart of the Mwendo Community in Gashora, Rwanda, recognizes this importance. With an impressive collection of over 4,000 books, our aim is to provide a welcoming space for children to enjoy reading in both Kinyarwanda and English.

Currently, we are in the process of expanding our library and require assistance with various aspects of the renovation. This includes painting, flooring, furniture, and security measures. We believe that by improving and growing our library, we can positively impact the education and personal growth of the children in our community.
